Oh Come on Indians! I’m not buying this load of crap!

Stunned, shocked and silent I was when a handful of terrorists handicapped a metropolis like ‘Mumbai’. How indiscriminate they were in the way they showered innocent people with bullets, killing around 200 people.
But here’s when I started to smell something fishy. Did you see how much in control over the entire situation they were? Almost as if they had the nod of the security agencies to go and put up a thrilling action drama.
And to top it all, the haste with which the fingers started pointing towards Pakistan was ridiculously absurd and unacceptable to anyone in a stable state of mind.
How do you expect me to believe that the ‘terrorists’ managed to infiltrate the Indian waters when a major naval exercise was actually in progress? More >
The ANP: Artfully meshed to the background

What had gotten the ANP in such a rut that they joined forces with the coalition? They vowed their alliance, if and only if the coalition promised to break the ISI, if not break then at least weaken from within. ANP had organized a rally for their party, what they had also organized was manslaughter of their own people. Because of ANP’s rather limited size and influence over the people of Pakistan, ANP was artfully meshed into the background yet with full privileges.

With the resignation of President Musharraf who had gained himself a notorious image in Washington for his tough stance on the Pakistani Nuclear program and the functioning of the ISI, Pakistan has effectively been left leaderless. There is political vacuum in the air and the nation anxiously waits for what comes next.

A gift to the USA denied: Who will the ISI work under?

The Inter Services Intelligence agency of Pakistan, the ISI, through a notification issued by the cabinet division was put under the direct control of the Ministry of Interior Affairs. This was done on the 26th of July, sometime in the evening. The notification issued also put the IB under the administrative, financial and operational control of the interior ministry. The ISI has worked under the control of the chief executive (Prime Minister) of the country in the past through the Ministry of Defense. More >
