Crisis in Egypt and Middle East
Syed Jawad Naqvi
The ongoing incidents in the world have become a centre of attraction for everyone globally. These incidents are taking place in the Muslim world and specifically on that land which has a serious impact on the entire Islamic world. The Islamic world has been a victim of various difficulties since long and a new change is seen now for which there is anxiety in the world and the only means for awareness about these incidents is Media which is not making people aware about the correct situation and is playing an inappropriate role. As a result many have become victim of misunderstandings and there are some in severe confusion about what is happening in Egypt. We present a brief analysis about what is happening and what is in its background under the light of what is visible. This is because the situation is highly complex and nothing can be clearly predicted. Everyone is just monitoring from far and the most important events which have taken place is the activity which started from Tunis where the government has changed due to masses movement. Then after Tunis in Egypt and along with Egypt certain similar signs are seen in Yemen, Algeria, Jordan and other places. But before we specifically talk about these events there has been one more bitter incident in the Islamic world which the media has not raised and spread out.
Division of Sudan
This was the division of Sudan on which the media has maintained silence. Sudan is the biggest country in the Arab world in terms of geography. One area of Sudan where a Christian minority was settled was divided by referendum even though the situation in Darfur is bad but the division was done somewhere else. In this referendum it was shown that 99% percent people have voted for this. Though the number of Christians in this region is not at all near to the votes given but this is a bitter incident which we will take it up at some other occasion. In short this is a chain of incidents and a complete circle of events which are coming up.
Wiki Leaks – The beginning of Fitna
The discoveries done by Wiki leaks which in reality was information bombardment across the world in which the prime target and nucleus was the Islamic world. As mentioned in our previous write up that this is the beginning of a new Fitna (dissension) in which Wiki Leaks has taken the first step and now the subsequent steps are in front of us. On top of the head what is happening in Middle East and certain countries in Africa has impacted everyone in the Muslim world. Since this slogan was raised from the very beginning by West and America that we want to construct a New Middle East with a new plan. In this plan the geographical structure, political structure and distribution of population will all be done in a new way; and above all a new culture is required in Middle East. This has been expressed by them explicitly and they have made attempts for this. (more…)

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan—Once again the cacophony of demands from the US and its allies on Pakistan has reached a crescendo.
The US is getting increasingly frustrated at its glaring failure in Afghanistan. Undoubtedly, the shadow of Vietnam must be looming larger over Washington – with demands for more troops from the military command on the ground in Afghanistan accompanied by a growing weariness with the war inside the US itself; and a confusion in the minds of the Obama Administration as to what needs to be done to turn the tide and bring “the boys” home victorious.
The ignominy of Vietnam is still writ large on the US psyche as is that last hasty departure of imperialism from that country – atop the rooftop of the US embassy in Saigon. As the questions grow within the US about Afghanistan and Obama’s confusion gets mired in a numbers game of how many soldiers to add to a force that cannot possibly win; an easy target for all that has gone wrong for the US in Kabul is Pakistan of course.
Never mind that the US itself blundered by allowing bin Laden to escape from Tora Bora – if that is indeed what happened; never mind that Pakistan has destroyed its own polity with thousands displaced and countless innocent citizens killed before drone attacks, suicide attacks and other forms of terrorism, for this US war; and never mind that the Pakistan Army has moved its forces from the eastern front, despite an increasingly belligerent India, to fight its own people in FATA. Instead of Mourning, our rulers toast with Mrs. Clinton!

More than one hundred innocent Pakistanis killed in one day, more than two hundred in less than a month. Attacks linked to our own and America’s failed Afghan policy. Attacks supported by anti-Pakistan forces in the region and not just unknown ‘extremists’. Children left without parents, a nation terrorized. And the response of our political elite? Dinner, toasts and merrymaking in Islamabad. Was a reception for a foreign guest more important than sharing the grief of your people? A shameless foreign-backed ruling elite.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan—One hundred and ten killed (110) in one day. More than two hundred dead in less than a month. If this were any other country, emergency would have been declared, nation would have been mobilized, and intellectuals would have moved to question the policies of rulers who draw their strength from Washington and London and not from the people and the interests of Pakistan. Afghanistan: A War of Lies

October 12, 2009
President Barack Obama and Congress are wrestling with widening the war in Afghanistan. After eight years of military operations costing US $236 billion, the US commander in Afghanistan just warned of the threat of `failure,’ aka defeat.
Truth is war’s first casualty. The Afghan War’s biggest untruth is, `we’ve got to fight terrorists over there so we don’t have to fight them at home.’
Politicians and generals keep using this canard to justify a war they can’t otherwise explain or justify. Many North Americans still buy this lie because they believe the 9/11 attacks came directly from the Afghanistan- based al-Qaida and Taliban movements.
