Islam & Pakistan! Technology & Me!
Tolerance
It is very important to listen. Listen. Listen. Listen and then speak. It is important to analyze all aspects and point of views before you decide to dismiss what someone says. We, as Pakistani’s, face this very common dilemma. We fail to listen and to respect each other’s opinion.
Every one of us is a leader. Everyone of us think he or she is destined to be the chosen one. Is that why we have been unable to find a consensus leadership since Muhammad Ali Jinnah? This is just an open question.
Tolerance needs a lot of patience. We as a nation are not used to being patient. We need to think and allow our rigid minds to open up and accept everyone’s point of view.
We also have to worry about a lot of misguided individuals. But you don’t go out to blow them up! You engage them in dialogue and debate. You try to change the way they think just like those who brainwashed them had changed their thoughts.
Let us all be patient. Let us all be tolerant. It will help us as individuals to deal with the everyday frustrations we face for ourselves. And individual correction will one day become a correction at the national level.
Peace.

Ironically, our religion also commends patience and we the inhabitants of ISLAMIC republic of Pakistan are neglecting it freely.

I agree with you, Anas. The situation in Karachi is very grim. Anything you say can turn into either a ethnic or sectarian conflict within minutes!

Everyone is borne without his own choice of origin and Religion. Family religion becomes his religion. When some people are exposed to others, they begin to question the validity of religion. All religions are named after person. JUDAISM after the Tribe of JUDA, HINDUISM after the Hindus, Christianity after JESUS Christ, BUDHISM after the Guatama BUDDHA, Marxism after the Karl Marx and Confucianism after the Confucius.
EXCEPT ONE RELIGION “ISLAM” is the religion given to ADAM. The first man and First Prophet of God and it was the religion of all the prophets sent by God to man kind. ISLAM does not claim to be a new religion brought by Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) but rather to be a Re-expression in its final form.
In reality the difference between ISLAM and paganism (KUFAR) is that Islam means surrender of the will to true God whereas paganism means surrender of the will to the person. When a Muslim will follows a person or a particular school of thought, there will be a question mark, on his Islam.

truly agree…its simple and logical…..i wonder i haven’t thougt that for once even!!!!
but wat about following particular school ov thought???people around us…each and every one, not only follows own school of thougt in islam, but say’s and believe people out of that school are on wrong path….infact i’ve heared even declarin them “Kafirs”…..
if one says (i say it too) following particular schhool ov thought will put a question mark on islam of a person…….roughly more than half of muslim population is living with that question mark. Isn’t it time to be worried??
i’ve faced such situation many times….people askin wat is ur school of thought in Islam..and when i replied “MUSLIM”they say:yes thats wat we all are,but wat school you follow???Again answer”Muslim”and they look at me as iv i’ve out of senses or somethig like that….
And one thing more, the logics they give to defend themselves are pretty fantasizing and catchy for common masses, even i’ve been inspired for sometimes…
is there any way out for such situation.i think it should be debated over here..
