Can you share some data with me that has led you to believe she might actually be involved? That would be a plus for me in analyzing the other side of the story :)

As for the status, she stands guilty (as per the US court ruling). Legal questions still loom over her being a Pakistani tried overseas and several other similar ambiguities.

We are all in a help-less state because none of our 'leaders' is ready to take a stand for a Pakistani citizen (terrorist or not) as compared to the US who shakes the very foundations of another country if a US national is arrested (even if he/she is a terrorist or of Pakistani origin).

That is the sort of sovereignty we lack because our leadership is spine-less to say the least.

what's the status of all this, now?
i had not followed up..
there are many people today who're aware of the issue and are protesting against the unjust actions of the US against Dr. Afia..

why are we, millions of people with sympathies for Dr.Afia, still in such a help-less state? :/

we cannot guess how 'fragile' or strong Dr. Afia was!

you're right about the loopholes in the case as presented by the US.

i may be wrong.. but whatever i've read thus far, her involvement in supporting Taliban(or at least supporting their ideas) seems obvious to me. although, this does not justify the treatment she has got. whatever her crime was, she deserved fair trial.

I fail to understand why they would pick up a woman as fragile as Dr. Aafia, but I do understand the case and its proceedings. They havent presented any convincing evidence to prove she shot American soldiers in 2008.

And if anyone could answer me, after being handed over to the US in 2003 (as reported quoting government ministers in the local media at that time), where was she kept all this long?

We obviously need to analyze both sides of the argument but lets make no mistake here, the US part of the story is too hillarious for me to accept.

Fire the US soldier who was so unprofessional that he left the gun on the floor so anybody could pick it up!

I'd end this comment probably by saying that This is a dirty game of complexly intertwined interests of the so called 'new-world-order'.
