Two soldiers martyred as India violates cease-fire
India has been resorting to unprovoked firing across the Indo-Pak border and the Line of Control for over a week now. In the latest incident, two Pakistani soldiers have embraced martyrdom.
Earlier, the Indian forces violated a cease-fire agreement near Sialkot and then across the LoC.
It is a clear indication of mounting pressure on Pakistan from both sides. One side is at war due to Indian-American sponsored terrorism and the other side faces an enemy hell bent upon resorting to violence to prove its hegemony in the region.
Following is the report in today’s newspaper regarding the incident:
ISLAMABAD: Indian troops opened unprovoked firing from across the Line of Control near Rawalakot in the Keller sector on Tuesday, killing two soldiers.
A spokesman for the Inter-Services Public Relations said that one of the soldiers died on the spot and the other during evacuation. He said the firing which started at 1:30pm continued for more than two hours.
It was the second incident of unprovoked firing by India in two days, the first across the Pakistan-India border in Sialkot on Monday.
