Okay, so I thought of this: we have lots of stories of how the United States is bullying Pakistan almost every single day. I’ve decided to collect them and present them here on a weekly (if not daily) basis. This might also help you find all the related stories at one place rather than looking for them over the internet.

Let me begin with January 15, 2010. Press TV Iran reports “US targets Iran-Pakistan gas deal” by offering its help to Pakistan in securing liquified natural gas supplied should Pakistan abandon the gas pipeline deal.

Allow me to bring to your attention that this deal for Pakistan and for Iran was historic. It ensured supplies of 750 million cubic feet of natural gas per day to Pakistan over a period of 25 years. This will not only help Pakistan overcome its energy voes, it will also give a grat boost to Iran’s financial strength. The US cannot afford both. It cannot afford to see Pakistan coming out of the energy crisis nor can it see Iran secure economic stability.

US targets Iran-Pakistan gas deal

Washington says it would help Islamabad secure liquefied natural gas supplies, should it abandon a planned gas deal with Iran.

Richard Holbrooke, Washington’s special envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan made the offer during a meeting with Pakistan’s Energy Minister Naveed Qamar in Islamabad, UPI reported on Thursday.

Last year, Iran and Pakistan agreed on a comprehensive deal on the long-stalled Iran-Pakistan-India (IPI) pipeline.

And another interesting news post about the United States ‘scolding’ Pakistani officials to acknowledge their role in the drone strikes that happen every other day. Senator Carl Levin of the USA alleged that Pakistani leaders privately support drone strikes while they denounce them in public – encouraging feelings of hatred towards the United States. Hmmm… This is interesting indeed!

Pak urged to acknowledge role in drone strikes

WASHINGTON: A senior US senator urged Pakistan on Wednesday to publicly acknowledge its role in drone attacks but other experts said they did not see either Washington or Islamabad owning up the air strikes.

In a conference call with reporters from Dubai, Senator Carl Levin scolded Pakistan’s leaders for privately supporting US drone strikes while publicly denouncing them. “What troubles me is the public attack on these drone attacks,” he said.

“While at the same time they’ve privately obviously not told us that we must stop,” chairman of the US Senate Armed Services Committee said.

With all the dominance and control the United States now has over us, it is important that we do not stop raising the issue out of sheer frustration and helplessness.

Help me in this cause. Let us report all cases of US bullying and sdictatorship over Pakistan to our nation so that we too can one day stand up and ask our rulers to get-a-life or get-lost!
