US Ambassador Patterson MUST be EXPELLED
‘You cannot tolerate vipers in your bosom without getting bitten,’ Ambassador Patterson said. ‘Our concern is whether Pakistan really controls its territory. There are people who do not threaten Pakistan but who are extremely important to us.’’
After controlled media leaks about US concerns of a Taliban ‘safe-haven’ in Quetta, the US Ambassador in Pakistan has come out and spoken to the media about it. Instead of a denial of reports that the US might attack the provincial capital of Baluchistan with drones, she says the US will have to do what it has to do to take out terrorists.
Enough is enough, Ms. Patterson. The outrage the Pakistani nation will come up with if anything as such happens will really be very painful for US interests in the region.
Ms. Patterson says several Pakistani officials have made it ‘crystal clear’ to her that the Taliban are a strategic asset to Pakistan in case the US has to withdraw from Afghanistan and the Taliban come into power; now implying that Pakistan is supporting insurgency in Pakistan or anywhere.
The United States really will never stop whining. After a major counter-insurgency operation in Swat, they still express their lack of trust over Pakistan’s ability to contain and crush terrorism.
It leads one to believe that it really is not about terrorism. It really is not about insurgencies. It is actually about the dirty US goal to destabilize and colonize Pakistan. It is about having put the Frontier province on fire and now to support anti-state elements in Baluchistan. The US wants to provide opportunities to them amongst all the mayhem that drone attacks here shall bring with them.
We also have to understand the significance of Quetta as a strategic military base of the Pakistan army. The command and staff college is situated there. And now of all times, the so called ‘Quetta Shura’ of the Taliban tops the US agenda and not Waziristan/FATA.
Will it not give confidence to anti-state elements to take-on the Pakistan army openly in the very heart of the province with US support? Will it not send a signal to them that not even the Pakistan army is secure in its own country?
I believe it is time to crush US war-hysteria in the region once and for all in Pakistan; diplomatically or militarily. Ms. Patterson has so wrongly been led to believe that she enjoys absolute authority over Pakistan and she can come and say whatever she wants to the Pakistani media. She must be told she is an Ambassador and nothing more and nothing less. She must also be told that she is an Ambassador of what every Pakistani believes is a ‘Hostile’ country.
We, I believe, should now go on the offensive and we should deliver selective strikes inside Afghanistan destroying drones and whatever equipment is to be used against Pakistan.
Ms. Patterson – Who are you to tell us we have no control over our territory? Who are you to tell us what we have to do with the insurgents inside?
I urge the Pakistan army to take strict notice of any suspicious military movement across the Pakistani border near Quetta. I urge the government of Pakistan to expel Ambassador Patterson for crossing the line one time too many.

The ambassador is threatening attacks on settled areas of Pakistan. She ought to be declared persona non-grata and escorted out of the country, asap.

Absolutely Saad. Thank you for the comment. She is asking for trouble, and no Pakistani loves her in any way!

My concern is not what she is saying or what the ENEMY is saying
What our establishment and gov is doing and saying is more an indicative of things to come in future?
majority of us look outwards, we need to look inwards

I totally agree with MB, how can an ambassador talk about a country not being to control its territory and our establishment sitting calm and quite over it.
I condemn her statements and she must be disallowed in Pakistan and to talk about Pakistan like that in future.

Nice to have you here Vasef. Wo kehtay hain na, ye apni ‘auqat’ bhool gayi hain. She needs to be reminded of who and what she is.

I say, abduct her and go leave her in Iraq. That’ll remind her that the US sucks at controlling territories.

u r bang on wid this.. infact the time has come to shun all these ppl who’ve got power, who’ve got positions… these weak, feeble n incompetent political buggers r good for nuthin.. perhaps the time is right to take matters into our hand.. i mean seriously, wen v know the exact locations of Blackwater rented houses in Islamabad, then y dont v ourselves take them down… Anne Patterson thinks such articles n pics r a potential threat to US citizen in Pakistan, so be it..
these things might sound too heady n emotional, bt yaar a person without ne country is like nuthin.. i cant imagine a live without Pakistan.. these ppl r a threat to the sovereignity of Pakistan.. CLAMP THEM DOWN..!!!

How can she ask Pakistan to control their territory. Look at your self Ms. Patterson, US have miserably failed in Afghanistan.
This is nothing but trying out reasons for more interventions into Pakistan. The Nation must stand united and protect its sovereignty.

dear all,
the prob is dat we haf already made enough compromises on our sovereignty. itz advised to u all to go read S.1707 the actual text of US Act for Enhanced partnership with Pakistan.(the US ambassador in pakistani embassy in US n others r misleadin us datz why i believe nomenclature is essentially significant. we need to kno wat exactly is coming to us) none of the provisions categorically talks about Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, instead that transactional Act is so intrusive. micromanagement of everything by the US. the operations research methods indicates dat…dey will hav access to every information. if it gets enacted itz goin to be direct interference of US in our lawmaking, our nuclear n strategic planning…by implication several clauses r askin us to denuclearize! direct implications for chain of command…n essentially speakin one of teh clauses even states that the list of ppl who will be granted 100000$ will be classified. so we dont kno who n who will b in our country. all pakistani nationals r directly under the reach of a foreign bill…um sorry but we r being sold for nthg worth it. listen to dr. maria sultan on current affairs talkshows if possible!

Bayshak hum amreeka kay liyay hain, aur amreeka hi ki taraf lot kar jana hai. No use being sentimental. We are a nation of beggars and robbers and the chief beggar and robber is our head of state. So no point whining about who is doing what to us. The question is what we done to ourselves. There is a time to sow and a time to reap. I am afraid it the time to reap

But the problem is, its General Kiyani wife who roam around her in all socialiies of Patterson. If the top brass of army is sell out what to ask about ambassador interference or Zardari treachery.

I think we have to go further than Afghanistan..Beyond the BLACK WATERS

It is the impotence of our govt. that encourages these US terrorist officials to threaten the sovereignty of Pakistan so openly and boldly. Who will give them courage to declare her an unwanted person and expell her with disgrace !! I remember Samad Khurram who refused to receive the award from her which was a slap on her face but then do these people have any shame? I think the media persons and people who attend these functions should shower her with their shoes.

She must be expelled from Pakistan! how dare she..

USA and its officials dealing with Pakistan are actually so called masters of our corrupt politicians…
Only one sentence justifies the offensive statements of MS Patterson against Pakistan:
“Beggars are not choosers”
If we wish to live like a nation with self-esteem and self-respect then we would have to break the begging bowl that our leaders (as they try to portray while begging) have held on behalf of the whole Pakistani nation.
In my opinion, this Pakistani government is a CIA-gifted democracy brought into existence through ‘NRO’ so they simply lack courage to face their US masters with self-esteem and prestige…
People of Pakistan should show same spirit against US interference in Pakistan as they have shown for restoration of Chief Justice…

Appreciate your article suggestng Expultion of present American Ambassador from Pakistan. This lady is the leftover of previous establishment, that sufficiently proves the fact that the actual and factual rulers of America are the elders of the Zion, while whosover is appointed the President of America is simply assigned to carry out the Zionist plans.
I throughly agree with your views that the security and sovereignty of Pakistan is paramount, therefore any person whosoever has dubious reflections, MUST be forthwith expelled from Pakistan without any exemption.

one just cant help but feel ashamed seeing our so called politicians literally bowing to these self proclaimed masters of the world ..Rise pakistan..what are you waitin for ..and STOP expecting from the idols you have in the name of these so called leaders

I don’t believe that theres anything we can do in this case. Pakistan is in so much debt from the USA that it cannot deny its commands, no matter lame and insensitive they maybe.
The only hope is if we get united and stop this from happening. the only rights in the world are available to the ppl and the animals of USA a/c to them while rest of the humans don’t even to deserve to live, vietnam, korea, afghanistan, iraq, palestine are all exams.
I hope the same fate doesnt come upon our ppl.
God help us.

I think its high time that we re-negotiate our support to the US in the War on Terror, simply because it is against out interests. The American public are also shifting in opinion and pressuring the government to get out of Afghanistan. The Pakistani government should do the same, and try to build a common consensus government in Afghanistan, with the Taliban included. Then Al-Qaeda could be sidelined through other methods…this mindless bombing should stop!
As for Anne Patterson’s comments that Pakistani agencies still maintain links with the Taliban. I ask her what’s wrong in that? Historically, the US has used us and left us with the consequences. The Pakistanis have a right to secure their future and cannot rely on the US anymore. There is a real debate in the US that there should be an early exit from Afghanistan, so why should Pakistan wait for that to happen and then face reprisals from Taliban afterwards?

yes man she is agent of CIA in Pakistan. And her last qouetes about Queta thats very bad

Ridiculous…

@ UTP
How is it ridiculous, Umar? Please elaborate your view for the readers to have a broader view of the analysis =)
My opinion, however, is that she must be asked to leave the country immediately. And this is not something that cannot be done. Other countries like Iran in our neighborhood have done so in the past and are now living like a truly sovereign state!
Yeh but Iran doesn’t have a lot of debts on it from the USA as well.
