Creeping American Occupation

What we all used to warn of probably a year back is now actually happening. Pakistan’s sovereignty is no longer guaranteed. I will not hesitate to say that our sovereignty has been sold out for a few billion dollars of the IMF and to the so called ‘Friends of Pakistan’ (read: USA) who are yet to provide any substantial monetary assistance.
No Pakistani would ever want any single inch of our homeland to be given away to outsiders, and especially if the outsiders are American. In allowing the Americans to violate our airspace, in granting them land for an unnecessary expansion of the US embassy in Islamabad, in allowing Blackwater operatives to run freely in urban areas in Peshawar, Islamabad and Karachi – the so called democratic and elected government of Pakistan is involved in gross misconduct, a misadventure that is evidently making Pakistan BLEED! It is a massive violation of the people’s mandate and the votes that were bagged in the name of ‘Revenge‘.
A democracy of revenge was never supposed to deliver. But every day brings a new story, every day takes us to new lows of slavery and subjugation. Our national interests are sold so cheap that it disgusts me down to my soul.
While the Zardari government shrewdly keeps the media and public involved in non-issues such as former President Pervez Musharraf’s trial, deals made for his safe exit, a sugar crisis orchestrated in the corridors of power and what not – the Zardari-Haqqani-Rehman Malik trio are busy wrecking our ship.
I am trying to closely watch how the military establishment handles the situation, for it knows well that with Pakistan lies all its perks and privileges. The success of the operation in Swat and Malakand is no small feat. But then again, we hear from them preparing for Waziristan. Whose directions are they following? Are they no longer a source of confidence for us who we used to look up to in times of political turmoil and in times when our leaders wanted to sell away every inch of our land to their American and Saudi masters?
Or is it again the cleverness of the democratic, US-enslaved government of Pakistan to keep the military engaged in a drama (in the name of Islamic militancy) put in place by the American-Indian-Israeli alliance to keep the army busy on this front that has in itself become an existential threat to the peace and stability of Pakistan?
We, the people of Pakistan, need to regroup. We need to shun the dirty government and media tactics to have us involved and fooled by petty issues while our country is sold bit by bit to the USA.
We have to realize that the West is now so confident of their hold on Pakistan that for them, the President of Pakistan and the President of Afghanistan are no different. They are now treating Pakistan as an Iraq or as an Afghanistan. We need to realize that the US-Indian-Israeli alliance will stop short of nothing but a complete take-over of Islamabad – implicit or explicit!
What the people are suffering at the very grass roots are of course none of our President’s concerns! He’s off for a twelve day foreign tour again where he’ll probably dance his head off to the tune of American dollars thrown out from the Pakistani exchequer!
With a President in power who it seems as if has shamelessly promised total surrender of Pakistan to the United States’ – the US occupation of Pakistan is creeping right up our sleeves. It is a reality we must all open our eyes too before it is too late.

This is probably the saddest things to have happened to our country, when it comes to Pakistan’s sovereignty at stake.
The arrest of a few Blackwater operatives carrying ultra sensitive weaponry in Islamabad, few days ago, was an eye-opener, and their quick release ensured by a few high level Pak Army officers, was even more enraging.
May Allah help us to cope with this mess, for He knows the best what is to happen. May Allah bless my country and people. Aameen.

I agree with you 100%, but my friend what really hurts is how our “free media” continues to turn a blind eye to all of this. not just this but a host of various issues that really need to be addressed.
For the betterment of our country as well as our religion.

kiyani and zardari are the continuation of mush and it shudnt be a surprise.
look at the timing of zardaris visit mush is also dere nd he has recently met bush to discuss various issues.
mqm high level designation has quietly visited usa holding high level meetings and it is now clear dat blackwater is also hiring bungalows in defence khi.
THE CAPITALIST IMPERIALISM HAS TAKEN OVER PAKISTAN IN THE FORM CORRUPT POLITICAL ELITE AND SLAVE MILITARY SO WHATS NEW WITH BLACKWATER.

With all due respect, Faisal. We, and our military, are nobody’s slave!
Nawaz Sharif’s very presence in Pakistan too is a continuation of Musharraf’s policies! Had he not signed the NRO, had he not allowed Zardari to step into his shoes, Nawaz would have been sitting out too.
So, like I have repeatedly said to you in previous discussions, GET OVER MUSHARRAF AND THE PAST AND MOVE ON! I hope you understand.

Forgetting PAST is not the solution, actually it should not be forgotten since PAST is what we base our decisions on!
Who is the continuation of who’s policy? This is not the question that ordinary men like us can answer! We have not even 10% of the knowledge and context of current happenings.
The optimistic statements are just to hide the truth. We should tell the reality not the brighter side.

Allow me to ask you, Atif. Why should we not show the brighter side to our people? And how can you assess what level of knowledge a person is at of current happenings? We’ve got to realize first, as individuals, that we’re not ordinary.
That aside, I think every situation must be assessed on a case-to-case basis and on merit, especially when it comes to governance.
The article is based on a harsh reality and states the truth which is definitely not on the bright side.

How about hanging the judges who validated him in the first place too? You’re talking about hanging entire institutions here with such an immature demand.
