# Where Is My Quaid?
I had casually posted a picture on my Facebook profile sometime in the evening that showed a group photo of the Pakistan cricket team in the Presidency. I was, of course, deeply hurt at the sight of the picture. I then went out. When I returned, I saw several posts and updates on facebook and Twitter regarding the picture.
#whereismyquaid is in at the moment and the photograph just adds to my disgust for the Zardari government.
The photograph above displays portraits of Zardari himself, Bilawal [Bhutto] Zardari, Benazir Bhutto and Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.

Millat ka Pasban Kahan Hai?
Party leader photographs should be limited to party offices. National Offices and Building should Only and Only have Photographs of THE FOUNDER OF THE NATION at ALL OCCASIONS.

Under law, to hang the portrait of Quaid-e-Azam at offices of government officials, President and Prime Minister is compulsory.
This demands a Suo Moto Action by CJP.

Thank you for the bit of law you’ve mentioned in your comment, Arsalan.
Indeed, I agree, pictures of politicians should be limited to party offices and not national buildings and government offices.

Disgusting as may it seem. The pictures of people on the wall behind are NOT legends. They were a part of the political scenario did things for their good but they were NOT legends.

If we make corrupt and unqualified person as President then you can expect anything.
Appreciate your effort Ammar that you write in love of our great country “Pakistan” but really we need people as leader who are true leaders, who can guide the nation to prosperity and who are not so corrupt to use even the aid of IDP for their personal benefit.
We are like herds a lot of people may be furious about my comment but even Non-Pakistanis know also that Zardari is one of most corrupt person.

wait, Pakistan Army will find the stolen pictures of Qaid from Waziristan, I’m sure they are the ones responsible for this too

funny. People have been cursing Zardari as if they have so many Jinnah Pics here and there in their homes. How hypocrite we are!

Can we all please STOP this Ahmed Quraishi, Zaid Hamid, Jamaat-e-Islami style doubting of people’s patriotism?!
Obviously this picture has been taken in the family section of the Presidency and the pictures on the wall are of the Bhutto-Zardari family. Stupid of someone to let these guys be photographed in the family section. But there are many pictures of the Quaid-e-Azam in the Presidency as is obvious in many recent photos from Karzai’s visit. Presidencies all over the world have pictures of the First Family up, along with every leader who was ever in power. Let’s get our research right before throwing hissy fits.

Dear Anonymous,
a) please come up with an identity.
b) taking what you’ve mentioned in your comment on merit, this is exactly what the problem is! Why was such a photograph released to the media by the presidency itself? THAT is what is shameful of them! Call it a silly mistake? Hell No! The President and his staff are supposed to be capable enough to avoid such errors!

None of them deserve to be there, specially not Bilawal Bhutto, i mean cmon, he doesnt even live here !!! :S…
about 1 year ago
Now here is something…. Can we ever get rid of these people. This is no error, this is outright treason!!! Plz someone tell me what in the world Bilawal has ever done for this nation? and for that matter what has Zardari has ever done for the GOOD of this nation?

We can, Nausheen. But this needs a complete overhaul of our electoral process and widespread voter education.
Our people voted them into the corridors of power (a view held theoretically at least).
You are probably right, Ammar. But I think we don’t need new processes rather new people. I don’t believe the educated people did vote for anyone on that stage. At the very least my family & I didn’t. Why? We simple couldn’t find anyone whom we haven’t tried out earlier. I believe this is the problem faced by most of us. For the current scenario, I would love to educate people NOT to vote ever. This may cause the collapse of this rotten bureaucracy and democracy.
How they have & how we have let them corrupt this beautiful country of ours!

Not voting is not the solution. And you see this is exactly what I am talking about. I believe in voter education so that Waderaaz and feudal lords dont grab votes by force from those who simply dont know and dont understand the power of their vote.
More representation must either be given to the educated class OR extensive efforts must be put in to educate our voters.
Unless this happens, we will continue to see the same *families* in power, one after the other…

Then we should all be on a look-out and be in touch with people like all of us here to search for these new faces! I think unless we don’t stand ourselves, it is highly unlikely that we have somebody up there (power circles) we can trust!
Don’t take me as the negative person but we all have seen the treacheries of all the elected or non-elected governments.
By the way the rumors are; Sharif had the meeting with Hussain in London and the latest Ordinance shall be the catalyst for the showdown AGAIN in Islamabad shortly. So unless someone else (totally new) steps-in by some divine twist of fate, we are again going to ENJOY Sharif Brother’s era soon.

This is worst. this is the reason of our current condition. we cant see and even don’t want to see anyone except ourselves.

@ Nausheen
Hussain who? And you are absolutely right. It has to be one of us, the people have to step up to the challenge.

this is really unfortunate for whole nation
but nothing wrong with the president or the govt, rather people are at fault who elected such representatives who in turn elected such heads of govt and state.
