Thank you, revivepak for your appreciation of the website. Indeed, it seems as if nothing will change for the better as far as US policy towards Pakistan is concerned. It only seems to be getting worse.

well i don't think that Obama could change their policiy which was implimented by his precedecessor, George W Bush. they continued their policy over a year cuz it'z de rlue ov their govt.

I m much surprised 4rm his order on closing Guantanmo Bay but he also said it took 1 year but it dosn't make any sense if he would say 1 mnth cuz ov 1 yr that seemz sound.
on the other hand he's shouting that they sholud make their relations better wid Muslim Country but he didn't play any effective role in the dispute b\w Palestine & Israel.

& in our country our govt doesn't play any role in stpping the drone'z attack cause in many deaths & many casualties & obama'z govt doesn't play any role in stopping the drone'z attack

u knw what de hell is going on the PPP govt came into govt wid NRO & they suh'nt do any thing against America & on the other hand the bloody Indians put the responsibilty of Mumbai attacks on Pakistan

  dn't wat da hell's goi'n

Hi, Nice site and layout. We should have no qualms about obama, sintentions. "Change we can believe in" was an election gimmick nothing more .In US state policies are not made let alone changed overnight. White or Black ,Democratic or Republican they all read from the same page. Situation is bleak and getting bleaker by the day. To top it ALL we have the worst statesmen holding the reins at the most turbulent of times

I am not surprised either. Security policies of Obama administration would not change overnight and maybe Pakistanis have tied up higher-than-reasonable expectations from Obama.

First off, he would not want to be the guy who stops War on Terror. He might stop assailing on Iraq but War on Terror is a larger front which is expected to remain open for some foreseeable future.

The good thing about Obama though is that he might listen to some concrete policies - should Pakistan government have some - about following some B-track diplomatic solution to the issues in northern areas. Let's hope that the Pakistan government chooses to do the right thing and Obama administrations cares to listen.

Sounds pathetic to read all of it but this is what it is like. I guess so.

I have the same feeling. Things will be worse.. interesting to note is the fact that Obama has begun his presidency choosing Pakistan as his 'first' murder zone!
