While the political unrest still continues to haunt us, enemies of Pakistan are on their toes as this should be the best time for them to do whatever they can to serve their vested interests.

Look at both our borders. India waiting on one side and Afghanistan creating trouble on the other. With Pakistanis embattled with internal turmoil, our enemies are having one hell of a party aggravating the situation further by fueling the internal unrest by all means.

It was in the news a few days back, that a meeting took place in India for attacks on strategic Pakistani military assets, attended by representatives from the CIA, MI-6, RAW and the MOSSAD.

In my previous column, “A Leaderless nation – What Next?“, I had said:

I am also worried about the control of the ISI, as this government is hell bent upon doing anything to please its masters in the United States.

This government has also reportedly cut funds for the Strategic Plans Division responsible for sustaining, progressing and protecting Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal. With the several layers of security and ambiguity to the Pakistani Nuclear program, this is being dubbed as the only possible way of slowly getting rid of the Pakistani nukes. No money, no development, no progress!

Let us wait and see how this government reacts to issues regarding territorial sovereignty. They appear too weak to stop or respond to any direct threats to Pakistan.

It is further asserted by our government’s silence on the issue of constant Line of Control violations by the Indian military. This silence has led to another lie being painted as the truth, with India blaming Pakistan for the LoC violations in public.

The Indian defense minister has strictly warned Pakistan that India is ready for “any eventuality” if Pakistan does not stop firing across the LoC. The Pakistani military maintains that it is the Indian army responsible for provocative actions across the Line of Control.

India asks Pakistan ‘to stop firing’

NEW DELHI, Aug 23: Indian Defence Minister A. K. Antony warned Pakistan on Saturday to stop firing at its soldiers guarding the LoC, adding that Indian armed forces were prepared for any eventuality. Having said that, Mr Antony, who was speaking at a news conference in Kozhikode in Kerala, clarified that there was no threat of a war with Pakistan.

“India appeals to Pakistan not to encourage infiltration and the recent cross-border firing, in which we lost lives of a few armed personnel, is viewed with all seriousness and the Indian armed forces are prepared to face any eventuality,” Mr Antony said.

The Pakistani government on the other hand appears to have no interest at all in safeguarding our sovereignty and the respect of our international borders.

Members of the Afghan national army were caught red handed in the Kurram agency, yet our government denied commenting on it.

These are the REAL issues at hand and we are deeply concerned about them. We have had enough distractions and eye-washes over the past few weeks to keep the attention of the Pakistani populace on other, non-important issues. We request our politicians to stop this jugglery, it has been 6 months now!

Pakistan stands extremely insecure today because of insincerity within our ranks.

May Allah bless Pakistan and protect us from internal and external threats.
