The ANP: Artfully meshed to the background

What had gotten the ANP in such a rut that they joined forces with the coalition? They vowed their alliance, if and only if the coalition promised to break the ISI, if not break then at least weaken from within. ANP had organized a rally for their party, what they had also organized was manslaughter of their own people. Because of ANP’s rather limited size and influence over the people of Pakistan, ANP was artfully meshed into the background yet with full privileges.

We all know why PPP and PML-N joined forces (even though it was the most excruciating and repugnant decision they ever must have had to make); to bring about the fall of the Great Titan Musharraf. But what was that shinny, glittery thing in the corner that lured the ANP to the coalition? Because, surely, Musharraf hadn’t wronged them nearly as enough as he had done the PPP and PML-N, I mean after all, Musharraf did over throw Nawaz; and Nawaz knew that if he were to take revenge of his humiliation of 9 years ago, he would need the PPP at his side. Thus enter, the PPP.

But what had gotten the ANP in such a rut that they joined forces with the coalition? Why were they so eager to see the back of the Titan? Because, what a cliché, as per tradition for the Pakistani Politics, simply for Revenge.

But of course, the ANP had its own agenda. They vowed their alliance, if and only if the coalition promised to break the ISI, if not break then at least weaken from within. We all know every political party has their own agendas with the ISI. But why does the ANP detest the ISI?

Pakistan’s premier defense agency - the ISI - has been instrumental in curtailing breakaway elements in Pakistan, such as the ANP who have only recently changed their tone on Pakistan and them being part of it. They had always advocated the frontier province’s annexation to Afghanistan.

To bring light to this question as to why the ANP detests the ISI, I have to state some facts to establish my answer correctly.

- The ANP has seriously severed ties with the MQM.
- Each party has tried/tries to sling mud at each other. They play their own game of monopoly.

So naturally the ANP and the MQM have a special rivalry over the control of Karachi. While ANP is dominant in only a few areas, the ANP and MQM have never been very comfortable with each others presence in the city, for some odd reason.

Now, whatever I mention here is through a certain source, and I am pretty certain that this is true.

I do not know when this event actually took place, but I do know it took place within the period when the coalition was affirmed.

ANP had organized a rally for their party, what they had also organized was manslaughter of their own people. They had hired South African assassinators, who had rented an apartment where they made their plans and had all their weapons.

They had planned to kill a “few” of their own people from the rally to create riot and chaos, later only to pin it on the MQM. MQM would’ve denied of course, but the ANP would’ve retaliated in the name of “Justice” and brought their youth to the streets to fight MQM, resulting in a classical Sectarian clash.

BUT all this was stopped from happening because of the swift and secret working of our ISI. How did my source know all this? His friend owns the building the assassinators had rented the apartment in. The owner of the building was approached by the ISI, a single agent (who claimed to be retired), told him what I just shared with you, and just enough for him to realize that if he gave the “Visitors” any sort of warning, he wont be living a very comfortable life (just to put it in the politest of manners).

Of course the ISI succeeded in dismantling their plans; and THIS is one of ANP’s own party agendas with the ISI and one of the reasons why they joined the “Coalition”.

Because of ANP’s rather limited size and influence over the people of Pakistan, ANP was artfully meshed into the background yet with full privileges.

    That is one *heavily* censored comment, Ali :P Rakiah’s report has weight, as we have all been sensing abnormal activity in Karachi.

    MQM, ANP and PPP??? Thats quite a strange alliance to think of Faisal, considering the time it happened…

    And i would also request you to stop defaming the military in public, Faisal. That is definitely not a very good sign for the integrity of Pakistan, the military is a sign of the strength of a federation and its defense capabilities, do not malign it. By blaming the military for everything, you are doing EXACTLY what the western world wants, for the people of Pakistan to lose faith in their military.
    You should also know that there are strong reports of a snap attack on Pakistani key sites being planned by India/USA/UK/Israel.

    It is a time when you stand by your military, or you are risking to lose independence or even Pakistan forever (God Forbid)!

    @Faisal:

    Tell me, if Musharraf was such an American dog, why did they have him be forced to leave office of the President? If he was willing to suck up to them, why did they force him to resign?

    @Ammar:

    The rickshaw driver I hired today said to me: “Yar Musharraf chala gaya, Karachi mein sannata chha gaya hai!”

    And we were being told, the lower class hates Mushi. Bloody bastards!

    @ ammar: yes ammar i support your strong views about pakistan armed forces

    @ faisal: why are u so biased, this ppp, mqm, anp are the only culprits for u, n those exiled leaders ( nawaz and shahbaz sharif) who didnt even learned to talk while living 7 yrs in exile are the only honey coated ice cream chocolate, since they supported that nonsense judges movement wid other nonsense parties( imran khan and jui) they are the only one right even if they paid the bribe to tv channels for creating the propaganda on media against musharraf, and wat do u think, the money they are spending on bribing the innocent where it did came from, was it there own money?? definitely not obviously they are again supported by some destruction forces, it would b better if u would change your views soon please n stop this blame game, this would lead u to no where.

    @ wajih,sawj and ammar

    i never supported pml(n) , i just dont find dem capable of doing n e thing (they r cowards n can easily be sidelined)even if they try their best to harm the state they will not be able to perform as well as mushi,altaf,asfand or zardari . usa didnt force mush to resign but replaced him with another pet zardari (who has also given da task to give mush a self exit with indemnity)so as to minimize the chance of n e iranian type situation in Pakistan when usa supported the shah for 40 years and people become so frustrated dat they over thrown the whole system them selves so zardari is a buffer zone assisted by others . as far as criticising the army , yes! i do it and the reason is i want it to go back to “Jihad e fe sabeelillah ” policy not “qital e fe iqtidar or dollars or america”.
    i consider it the second most imprtant pillar of our country after judiciary and if dai destroy da judiciar,hand over our people for dollars,kill our own kids n women den i will criticise openly so dat others can be heard who r suffering (self accountability of criticism doesnt harm only shakes u temporarily but living in da state of false illusion really kills ).

    as far as standing with the army is concerned . i stand with the country and army is a part of it not the country itself. sirf is kafirana jang sai bahir niklain aur stand laikai dekhain inshaAllah people will stand for dem (our army backed by our tribes can ve a real good combination but at da moment due to busharraf war dai r killing each other so the state is at loss no matter who wins), give justice to people and dai will stand for u (baluchistan ki sufferings ko kam to karain n un kai rights to dain jis nai in pai zulm kia hai aur tribal areas mein qatal karai hai us ko saza to dain phir log bhi thandai hongai) and remember no peace no justice and so no unity.

    mere dost faisal bhai

    the case with us pakistani govt…we keep on begging, accepting loans from the foreign countries from the very start, and then as a result the lenders ask for their chores that is in their own benefit. It is the result of these chores that these attacks on extremist groups happened, but but but is mein musharraf ya zardari ya ne abc leader ka role hai??

    u always say that it is musharraf that led all that happened, but to b very honest he did wat other leader must have done in the pressure of US and other foreign forces. and to ur info this loans thingy was initiated back long, i guess from the pakistan existence(correct me if i am wrong) when pakistan needed the support to prevent its existence. but it was musharraf that resisted anything in favour of country, even americans ambassadors claims that he was the only leader who stood so upright and straight forward in front of those unreasonable chores that would destroy the country.

    i guess the solution of all ur allegation against musharraf or any leader relating to last post are none other than that to do as they ask u to do, now u call then their pets or wat ever, they have to obey it, but u ll see in near future that this the former leader was much better than the current are, and the satuation will futher deteriorate if we the literates of this nation dont understand this fact asap…

    @wajih

    i do understand that we are economically slave but if people like us don’t try (chahai asar ho na ho) to change the tide then things will go even worse so at least some opposition is required and i hope inshaAllah with more educated minds making theirselves and their country stronger then we will achieve the goals our founders wanted to but for that HUMARAI KAM AZ KAM ZEHAN TO AZAD HON IN CHOTAI CHOTAI KHUDAOON SAI!
